We are hosting a potluck at our house tonight. We invited a ton of people thinking that about half of the people would show up. Must be a slow weekend, because it looks like about seventy people are coming over.

We are scrambling to borrow tables and chairs. :-)

Which muppet do you identify with the most? I know who my hero is : “I shall now defuse this highly explosive bomb while simultaneously, and at the same time, reciting from the works of Percy Bysshe Shelley”.

My niece brought over a chocolate cake with ganache icing.
My weekend has been sugar and chocolate coated.

I’m glad you all enjoyed this as much as I did! It’s nice to know you’re all having fun this weekend! :)

Joanna, my favourite Muppet line of all time? “I shall now perform a feat of lunatic daring!” (Guess who? ;-))

Gina, loved Manamanah – did you see him on the Bohemian Rhapsody clip? ;-)

Yes, Gonzo, Gonzo, Gonzo! I have a soft spot for Rizzo the rat too. If anyone hasn’t seen a Muppet Christmas Carol, I highly recommend getting it for Christmas this year – it’s just wonderful! :)

We loved this too. I particularly like “Mama? Mama? Mama? Mamamamamama?” Just sounds like here.

    Recipe Attribution

David Lebovitz wrote one of the best articles I've read on recipe attribution, and if you're a blogger who posts recipes, it's well worth a look.

In a nutshell, the ingredients of a recipe are not subject to copyright, but the text is, so always make sure you re-write the methodology in your own words, with any changes and modifications you've made. And always make sure to acknowledge the original source!
