August 14, 2011 by Celia @ Fig Jam and Lime Cordial

Wishing you all joy this Sunday morning!

We’ve been listening to Small Man’s favourite song…

Gosh, you’re up early (or late)! It’s still Saturday afternoon here and no sign of the sun yet. I hope you have a fantastic day!

Smiling- we’ve been listening to this in the Jeep- that’s the only place I still sit and listen to music. Everywhere else- it is background sounds.

That is also one of my favourite Beatles’ songs.

There’s something about that song……as soon as I saw the title of this post the music started going through my head. Very apt as we’re getting closer to spring (not close enough for me yet ;-). My small man loves AC/DC – not the best start for a quiet relaxing Sunday morning hearing ‘You shook me all night long’ !!!! At 8 he has no idea what the lyrics mean, but it’s a bit disconcerting watching him jumping on his trampoline singing ‘….she was a fast machine, she kept her motor clean……..’)!! Have a great Sunday!

Great song – I turned it up and had a dance in the kitchen with my Peter – who’s in the middle of making marmalade. Small man has ‘happy man’ song tastes.

It won’t be morning here in California for another seven or eight hours, (depending on how pushy the cat decides to be.) It’s great to hear that a good one is on the way!

    Dancing already,

    Maz.

Missed this yesterday, but what a lovely wakeup call for a Monday morning! Thanks Celia and Small Man.

Oh Celia, as the morning fog (or was it low cloud?) lifted off this (Sunday) morning I began whistling this tune. I was happily whistling it into the afternoon, enjoying a resting day off, when I wondered how it began. Then I remembered – Celia’s blog!! Thankyou – it made a nice Sunday even better.

David Lebovitz wrote one of the best articles I've read on recipe attribution, and if you're a blogger who posts recipes, it's well worth a look.

In a nutshell, the ingredients of a recipe are not subject to copyright, but the text is, so always make sure you re-write the methodology in your own words, with any changes and modifications you've made. And always make sure to acknowledge the original source!
