February 4, 2011 by Celia @ Fig Jam and Lime Cordial

Small Man and I made a couple more lanterns yesterday…

Lots of fun, although I’ve nearly used up all my angpow wrappers!

I’m amazed at how many laterns can be created with just those wrappers! They’re beautiful!

I’m imagining all your fantastic lanterns all over the house Celia…, I love the one with tassels, impressive & ahemmm….., is there anything you can’t do?? No, no…., don’t answer that…, I’m already in awe, the truth may cause serious implications.
    Awesome job my friend :)

So festive! I’m happy your son worked with you on the lanterns. I love it when my sons jump into a project with me!

They’re just exquisite Celia and extra special because you can attach to them time spent making them with your SM. Ten clever and happy fingers. Gong Xi Fa Cai

Thank you all! Lee, and ang pow is a red package with money in it, given at Chinese New Year to children for good luck (lucky children, eh?). :) There a bit more info here:

Ok, I think I know which ones you mean, but don’t think I can get them again. Did they have the name of any bank or company on them? I’ll find her some nice ones.
