I love blogging, but I’ve come to realise that I need to take the occasional break from it, or it starts to feel like work.
So while my boys are on holidays, I’m going to take a little breather to spend some time with them. I’ll still be reading and replying to comments, there just won’t be any new posts in the next couple of weeks.
See you all in February! x
Fantastic Celia. Enjoy your time off and I look forward to your garden updates and recipes in February.
:-) Mandy xo

Have a great time with your boys!!! xo
As much as it pains me to say goodbye (for a short while) to one of my favorite food bloggers in the known universe, I completely understand the need to take a break, and wish you a fantastic time with your family!
Enjoy each moment! We’ll all be here to welcome your return…
Have a great break!
You truly deserve the break. Look forward to your return.
Enjoy- take lots of pictures- and thanks for all the work you put into your blog all year long. I’m going to go back and make some of your recipes that I didn’t have the time or ingredients to make before!
I completely understand where you’re coming from, Celia. Enjoy your break.
Should never become a chore, my dear, not for those of us who do it for fun rather than as work…
Enjoy your time off with the boys and we’ll see you when we see you!

The new year should be a time of renewal, reassessment, and refreshment. Have a lovely break with your boys Celia, and enjoy every minute!
Oh it always dissapoints me when I eagerly look at your page for a new post and I see “breather”. But enjoy! There is a time for everything and the time for more posts will come again :)
I’m sure you deserve that break Celia. What a beautiful photo. That place looks like paradise. I shared your recipe – 40 cloves of garlic, on my blog last night!
Enjoy your break, we all need a summer holiday and spending time with your boys sounds great.
Look forward to seeing you revived and refreshed in a few weeks!
Breathe in, breathe out…. ahhh…
See in Feb Celia, enjoy your time off.

Enjoy! The food world will be here when you get back. And soak up some sunshine for me (we had snow today).
I understand and feel much the same. Take care xxx
Oh my goodness gracious me! You must have driven past our shop Celia — I can tell from the photo. Next time you are heading this way please do drop by.
I hope you enjoy your break with the boys.
Have a reat holiday
we all need a breather every now and then :)
Take your time. We’ll wait. We’ll sulk. We’ll pine. But we will wait.
I agree, you will be missed and all the more welcomed when you come back refreshed and relaxed.
Hugs, Maz
Dear Celia,
Taking a break sometimes does a world of good and we would expect you come back with a vengeance like never before :) The photo of the Seacliff bridge is awesome. We have friends who live in Helensburg and we often visit and stay with weekend with them and taking that walk is a usual activity after a hearty meal.
Enjoy your break.
Rest well…
Take it easy and have fun! :)
Sounds like a grand plan Celia. Enjoy the holidays and that amazing coast if you can.
Happy 2012 Celia. Best wishes and lots of fun and games on your ‘vacation’
Have a great time lovely! A breather sounds like a grand idea :D
Have a good & great break, dear Celia! :) Enjoy! We all need it from time to time! :)
Enjoy every moment!
Thank you, you’re all very kind! We spent a couple of days with friends on the Central Coast, but we’re back now and will just be hanging around here for the rest of Jan. It’s nice to chill out and relax! Hope you all have a great couple of weeks! :)
great idea Celia. We need you to keep blogging – just made my first batch of ice cream using the microwave custard recipe, which we have enjoyed many times. fingers crossed the ice cream is just as yummy!!
Have a great week off and enjoy the holidays.
Everyone needs a breather now and then! You have certainly earned one and then some, so enjoy!
