September 17, 2018 by Celia @ Fig Jam and Lime Cordial

After 35 years together, almost to the day, I love that he still holds my hand on the bus. ♥

I don’t think we have ever, ever, held hands! Is it only on the bus? Does he fear you’ll pinch someones jeans? Pretty cute though.

I will never, ever get tired of feeling his hand grope for mine as we lie in bed, or set out for the shops, or walk down the street. And I’ll never get tired of his phrase as he does so: “Attach wife.” Glad to know there are more like us out there…

38 years married. We still hold hands. A little tighter these days after my bout of ill health this summer. Lovely.

Mo, I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been unwell. I hope you’re much better now. xx

How lovely. Congratulations. We’ve been married for 41 years and as I like to remind him, “He will always be my first husband.” (I hope he will always be my only husband.) So many heartwarming comments on this post.

What a joy and may you be together for many years to come, still holding hands.
This is the first email I have received from you for over a year – so good to be back on your mailing list. The powers that be, must have, at long last, taken heed of my pleas!

So lovely! We just celebrated 36 years last week and we still hold hands and spend a lot of time laughing together. May you and Pete have many more years of hand holding!
