So strange to think you’re having Christmas Eve already! I’ve still got half a day before the last minute panic sets in.

Happy Christmas to you, your family and your feathered friends!

Happy Christmas from Burgundy!!! -2c and wish we had snow instead of very cold rain. Big French seafood feast for the 24th with the 13 Provencal desserts (brought from Nice) and turkey etc on the 25th for lunch.

    See you in February!!!

Did I tell you that your girls have 5 French cousins? I can see them from my kitchen window. Anna x

Merry Christmas Celia – thank you so much for the generosity of your blog – I have very much enjoyed your recipes and tips. Made a quick visit to Harkola yesterday and stocked up on some nuts and figs. On the way out I was thinking I would never have discovered it or Chefs Warehouse without you!!!

I hope you have a beautiful Christmas and can enjoy some delish food with your family and friends.

All the blessing of the season to your and your family, Celia! And greetings to your chooks from mine. Love the chook Santa! Which one of the girls starred?
I had to consult ‘you’ very early this morning as I tempered chocolate for boozy pudding truffles, it was too hot yesterday to contemplate chocolate.

Merry Christmas everyone! Thanks for sharing the year with us! :) The photo above is of Rosemary, taken by Mr NQN of Not Quite Nigella. And Deb, I have a few ears of corn which we’ve been saving for the girls – they’ll be harvested tomorrow morning for them! :)

Happy Christmas to you and the boys Celia! Just making a tonne of shortbread thinking of you – I was planning to give it away but my dinosaur obsessed boy keeps stealing it for his t-rex. Thanks for all the recipes this year.

Merry Christmas to you and yours, Celia! And to everyone else as well!

I think the picture looks cute. Never seen one like that before, usually horses, deer, or elk; a chicken’s a new one!

Finally finished my last gifts, now I just have to make chocolates with the children. It should be fun, I found some chocolate molds, so we’ll try something new. Thanks for the inspiration! I tried several of your recipes, including the Butterscotch Bars. I really liked them. Next year I’ll make more to give as gifts. Thanks for the lovely recipes and other tidbits you share with us all!

    Enjoy your holiday,
    Manuela

I am struggling to find the Christmas spirit at all this year. Long story. many stories. But I do wish you every happiness and thank you for the happiness that you have spread via your blog.

Happy Christmas lovely Celia. I love your chooks, so sporting wearing a Santa hat too…., in fact I can safely say I’ve never seen a chicken wearing a Santa hat.
Have an awesome day (I went mad last night & tried out your Shortbread…., turned out wonderfully, thanks for such a great little recipe).
    Cheers

    Hi Celia,

A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to yo and your family, today I am trying the Vanillla Extract and can’t wait until it is ready to use, anyway I was just wondering were you get all your jars and bottles from? I’m on the Central Coast.
