Remember my cheat’s focaccia dough?

I’ve discovered it also makes a wickedly good pizza dough. The quantity of dough in the original recipe makes four generous pizza bases…

It’s not traditional, but it was both delicious and easy to shape. And it’s a good way to use up surplus sourdough starter! ♥

    Look a delicious Celia. Have you ever frozen the dough or pizzas for use later? I could reduce the quantities but would probably still have more than one meals worth. Or I could wait until we can spread out with friends 😁

      Kim, I have parbaked pizza bases in the past and frozen them, but haven’t tried it with this dough. I think you could make a half batch of the dough quite easily though?

    your pizza looks beautiful – I just looked at your foccaccia recipe and decided it was not as quick as my pizza dough but I love the look of the pumpkin (I think) pizza and wondered how you do it – I tried a pumpkin pizza on the weekend but was not quite happy with it as it did not have enough pumpkin!
