A quick Easter tip – my friend Marilyn has a free pattern for this very cute Easter basket on her Toymaker website.
I’ve printed them out on light cardboard and lined them with a little parchment paper, before filling with homemade Easter chocolates for the neighbourhood children.
There are lots of other Easter craft ideas at the Toymaker website as well!
Here are a couple of Marilyn’s flower bags – we’re having a creative morning!
Edit: A brand new pattern – cardboard Easter eggs! The link is here.
Way too cute! I love the bunny ears poking out of the gorgeous basket! I need to make some Easter chocolates.
See you soon. All the chocolate making tools are set out, ready to go! :)
They’re gorgeous. What a great way to spend Good Friday. Now I feel like a bad mummy…. I haven’t even bought any chocolate for the kids… or even told them it’s Easter come to think of it. Oops. Happy Easter.
They look lovely……what a great resource you are
Waw!!! What grand, lovely & colourful easter baskets!! Well done!
Lucky lucky neighbourhood children!
Dan, Happy Easter to you too, love!
Oz, Sophie, thank you! But it’s not me, it’s Marilyn who’s the great resource – I’m so often on her site scrolling for new things to play with!
Anna, there were a couple of very happy little boys yesterday.. :)
Happy Easter! Just made a tarte tatin with red onions and wholemeal, cheese and oregano pastry and it was scrumptious!
Now all I need is a few handmade choccies to go with a cup of coffee (wink!) I do like those cardboard easter eggs, what a clever person Marilyn is!
Happy Easter Jo! Your tarte sounds delicious..
They’re gorgeous and the cardboard Easter eggs would be safe around me unlike the chocolate versions :D
Yes, they are lovely, Marilyn is indeed a very clever lady! And I’ve just had a quick look at your blog – hooray – you’ve been to the show! :) Going to get a cup of tea now and settling in for a good read..thanks.. :)
Celia
Great wrapping Celia … but what a shiny glossy finish on those treats!
Praise from the chocolate queen! :) Mind you, then I did something daft and put the plastic moulds in the dishwasher and warped them all – will now have to try and find new ones for next year! Which is a shame, as the bunnies were very cute…
