If you’ve baked scones this week, or do so in the next few days,
please let me know and I’ll add you to the round-up!
Wow what a line up! I attempted to do one with Mum, but it ended up being a busy week for her. These all look gorgeous and I would like one now. Can we vote??? I’m going with Clare of http://thelifeofclare.com.au/scones/ because these look like the real deal and I am a sucker for trad scones.
It’s not a contest Francesca! ;-) But Clare’s were indeed gorgeous (as were all the others!) :) I love how different they all were!
I know, I know! But I am just having a private vote.
;-)
Wow! What a visual feast of scones! Thank you for inspiring the fun Celia!
What a delicious round up, Celia! Yummy.
Such great imagination and variety when it comes to scones! I can’t think of what my favourite would be but perhaps the traditional lemonade scone xx
What a collection. Now which one do l eat first:)
What an incredible range of scones Celia, both the basic recipes and flavour combos. Who’d have thought a scone could be so versatile. They all looks delicious!
Wow! Who knew there could be so many varieties of scones? I’m going to have to try them all – just have to come up with different names for each of them as long as it’s not the “dreaded scones”.
Wonderful idea Celia.
I love all the different scones! How wonderful that there are so many varieties!
It’s like a beauty pageant of bread and everyone is a winner. Sweet! <3 Maz
Such an impressive following you have Celia. Thanks for all of your effort putting this together.
What a fantastic variety of scones. I love that there are as many savoury as sweet. Thanks for hosting this Celia. It was a lot of fun :)
That was such fun Celia and thank you for putting it all together – I’d love to graze through all the plates – but I wouldn’t bring ‘my girls’, they’d beat me at every plate. BTW, my ‘hot from the pot’ loaf of ciabatta dough has good texture and flavour, at least, I think it does, and Peter, my kitchen ally, gave me full marks:)
What a heartwarming collection of gorgeous scones. Well done, Celia!
It’s a kind of scone porn isn’t it? :) I feel quite full just looking at the picture.
G’day and what a collection indeed that I was very proud to participate in Celia! Well done and really enjoyed the International Scone week fun…commented on all above…and today in turn sharing the love!
Cheers! Joanne

Good grief, what a selection. We could open a virtual tea shop. They all look delicious don’t they? A wonderful idea Celia.
What a fantastic line up! Who would have thought that the humble scone, could have all these incarnations! Liz x

[…] I baked scones for International Scones Week. That’s not to say that I baked them during International Scones Week. Last week was manic; the scones had to wait for me to breathe. Sunday morning was calm enough for the occasion, so here’s my contribution to Celia’s annual event. Photos of the participants’ scones are at Fig Jam and Lime Cordial […]
Mine is posted at http://miskcooks.com/2014/08/17/international-scones-week/

I am utterly exhausted after having to scroll through that lot Ms Celia! I need to go and have a lay down now where I will no doubt dream of scones ;)
Oh gosh, who knew there were so many ways to bake scones. I’ve got some serious scone envy now and will be going back through these over the next few days to bookmark some of them. Thank you Celia.
Sorry I couldn’t join in but thanks for all the scone inspiration (and if it counts I’ve been eating lots with jam and clotted cream in the UK)
